My name is Anna and I was born in the happy 80’s in the year of epic movies (The Terminator, Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Police Academy…oh so many…google it up!) and when Frankie goes to Hollywood was at the top of the charts. Days when kids knew what the ‘outside’ looks like and when full fat coke didn’t make anyone fat. I live in London with my amazing husband Jolyon who is my rock (and roll), where I moved from my mother land (dumplings, sausage, beer and pretty girls land) in 2005. I am a little bit of what you could call a health freak…a little bit because almost every Saturday I become a Mexican serving gallons of tequila (Ah Patrón mi amor!)! But every other day I’m staying loyal to my fitness routine and a healthy diet. In my spare time, when not seeing friends or having BBQ in our back garden (Jolyon is the ultimate BBQ master!) we ( I say we as of Jolyon and I…hate when people say WE all the time as expressing the opinion of the couple…YOU ARE SEPARATE PEOPLE!) are trying new drinks (mixing at home never did us any good, at least waking up fully dressed on your own floor at 5 in the morning is much more acceptable than at someone else’s place!), checking out new bars, pubs and restaurants-I might even share my fav spots :-) I love to travel- by all means not the actual ‘travel’ bit as I am petrified of flying and disagree with smelly, sweaty armpits on the trains ( hello Clapham Junction at 5.38pm!)…I love to see the new places, go back to the old ones with tons of memories, meeting old and new friends-so if you’re around and know about a cool venue happening or just want to go and have a drink / food / little dance, give me a shout. I like to experiment with make up and fashion, I recently begun making clothes, with no major disasters just yet (no trousers split on my back side on the train yet phewww…), I’m also a big fan of all sorts of DIY, always running around with nails, tapes, cans of spray paint when my slightly disorientated husband is asking why I’m up at 7am on Sunday, but when I have an idea in my head, I need to make it happen! Newly introduced to Pinterest I could spend a lifetime and a half going through inspirations (and funny cats pictures), and as someone once said-if you’d look at my Pinterest boards, you’d think I’m going to have 15 weddings,50 houses, want to get fat, drunk and fit at the same time. If you’re interested-please have a look, you may find some stuff you like. I love books (mmmm new book smell…), good company, music and great food-what else do you need in life? I dislike rude people, a lack of manners and general stupidity but I think the most of all, I hate f*cking London public transport…(that’s why I’ll be sharing my commute frustration A LOT!)
