Cold and rainy UK – hello.
It is getting more and more difficult to force myself to go out, it is cold, it is rainy and it is pitch black at 4pm already.
Since coming back from Corfu, we felt a little bit disheartened as it felt like our only adventure this year had come to an end, but after feeling restless for a few weeks, we decided to travel to Canterbury on the last weekend before another full lockdown.
The weather was dreadful, and I mean dreadful, the rain was nearly horizontal with the awful gusty wind.
We did not mind though as we set our eyes on the beautiful The Goods Shed – fresh produce market with outstanding restaurant inside. We did not book and were worried we may not be able to get a table but luckily there was a table for 2 available so we grabbed it without hesitation.
The food was to die for, fresh, amazing, seasonal produce, beautifully presented and paired with fantastic wines and Spanish sherries. We wanted to go through the whole menu but as always our eyes were bigger than our bellies and after a very few dishes, we were full beyond believe.
