When you want local, there is nothing more local than this fish restaurant. Ta Psarakia in Garitsas part of town has a vast selection of fresh fish and seafood dishes, all super fresh, straight from the fishing boat. You can come to the kitchen and select your own fish to be cooked while you enjoy your starters.

In this restaurant we had the best local dish called Skordalia – potatoes mashed with lots and lots of garlic and olive oil. This is not for faint hearted or people who do not like garlic – this will POW your head off.

The other dished you cannot give a miss are superb spicy seafood pasta – as Corfu was under Italian influence for many years, the pasta dishes in Corfu are second to none and the one at Ta Psarakia was to die for. Perfectly cooked pasta with mountain of seafood – what else to ask for?

While your wait for your mains to be cooked, you can enjoy fresh tsatsik (also super garlicky!) with olives and deep fried courgette balls – these are one of the best ones we found in the whole Corfu!
