One of the bars we had to visit in Palaiokastritsa was La Grotta – we have done a comprehensive research of the are before visiting the island and this bar was our top of the list!
Short walk from the main beach, up and down the hill a few times then 142 steps down, there it is.
Funky bar hanging off the cliff, positioned over few, different level decks with a diving board and water to die for.
With roughly 20 meters deep water straight from the start, brave ones can dive from the board or from the side of the cliff – I preferred to enjoy a cold drink and just admire the surroundings.
