If you are a foodie and never been to Warsaw in Poland, you should definitely give it a try. There is lots and bars and restaurants where you can try traditional food like pierogis, sour soup or sourdough bread with smalec and pickle, amazing bakeries selling delicious pastries but also super refined restaurants like Atelier Amaro where you can pair your tasting menu with wine or local spirits which looks great on paper but after 11th course it is quite difficult to walk straight ;-)
I am sharing some pictures from various restaurants we visited and some of the must try restaurants.
Some amazing food we tried:
Stary Dom – super traditional restaurant with very oldschool decor and chefs preparing some dishes at the table (their hats are just fabulous!), also serving frozen vodka:
Zielony Niedzwiedz – modern Polish restaurant with amazing wince selection:
Atelier Amaro – in my opinion MUST TRY – we could not fault this place, from the service, through the food and ambience, this place was was everything a foodie can dream of:
