Hola!
I love Mexican food and have been looking for an authentic Mexican experience in London for ages. Of course have been to Wahaca but after watching a travel program about origins of El Pastor tacos in Mexico, I knew I need to try them. Totally oblivious to the fact that the amazing El Pastor exist in London!
Down in the Borough Market, under the train bridge, there it is. Little hole in the wall with some tables outside and mile long queue as they do not accept bookings.
Sceptical at first as I HATE to wait, we went to a pub round the corner to wait for our slot that was 90 minutes later. All I can say it was all worth the wait, margaritas, tacos and the selection of tequilas and mezcal are amazing!
Prawn tacos are to die for, you must try them! also do not miss all the ridiculously hot salsas!
