After visiting few places in Spain, this time it was time for Cádiz.
Cádiz is an ancient port city in the Andalucia region of southwestern Spain. It has more than 100 watchtowers, including the iconic Torre Tavira, which was traditionally used for spotting ships.
Cádiz and surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful, though as it is on Atlantic coast, it can be a but chilly in the evenings, even in summer,
This region of Spain – as every other- has an amazing produce and food. I could forever sit and eat jamon and drink local sherry and eat smoked, salted almonds, watching the sun go down.
One of the highlights of the trip was gazpacho with olive oil ice cream.
