I found my new favourite place on Earth. After very relaxing time in Dordogne, we set on a journey back to Bordeaux to spend our last few days of holidays.
There is not a bad thing I can say about Bordeaux, the food, the wine, the people, architecture, everything was so overwhelmingly amazing. We settled in a small hotel, with infinity of stairs, in the middle of the city centre, just a couple of minutes walk from the bars and restaurants.
Le Petit Commerce run by a quirky manager who forces people to sing their national anthems and refuses to let them leave – for a brief moment I thought we will never be able to leave as after paying the bill it took us another hour to get out of there after series of extra on the house drinks, Polaroid photoshoot, singing session and inspecting freshly delivered mushrooms. Mad place!
We left France with a heavy heart and already are planning the next visit.
