Barcelona

Following rather stressful last few weeks (cat accident with its little lifesaving surgery, rather on a high side vet bill, Brexit- do not even make me start on this!), hubby and I managed to make an escape to a more pleasant surrounding- 5 days in sunny Barcelona! It has been raining in the UK for the last 6 centuries (or at least I feels like it) so to get out of the plane into a sunny, dry air it was a shock to the system. Eyes not adjusted to the brightness, nether the skin (I was sporting fancy lobster skin shade followed by few shades of brown with peeling patches- niceness!).

I could probably write a book about how much I love Barcelona and how heartbroken I was to be coming back but I think to present it with the pictures is more appropriate than me raving about how amazing everything was (including 10 mile walk and phones running out of batteries leading to us getting lost for 7 hours, meeting random people and drinking wine till 5am).

Starting from the Hotel we stayed at – Yurbban Trafalgar through all the little tapas bars (Quimet y Quimet, Tapeo and loads more!) to totally crazy restaurants like 4 Gatos where ‘young artist’ Pablo Picasso designed their poster.
